With US 10½/6.5mm needles cast on 97 sts and work 3in/8cm K1, P1 rib cast on 96 sts and work K1,P1 rib for 3in/8cm inc 1 st in the centre of the last row—97sts.

With US 11/8mm needles cast on 54 50 sts and work as follows:

2 hanks of Jaspeada
for cowl
2 hanks of Jaspeada
for both garments
