The sheer beauty of Noro yarns is that each ball or hank of the multi coloured yarn is individually hand dyed to produce a unique palette of subtle shadings and vivid hues. Iro is meticulously created and produced by Japanese artist Eisako Noro. Each color within the yarn is composed of three or more colors which must be separately hand dyed and then blended. Iro is a yarn that is designed to stripe in a wonderful sequence of colours. It is known for its amazing large blocks of colours that create wider stripes.
