Noro Yarns is known for the rich tapestry of colors inspired by nature. Sometimes beauty is not in intricate stitches, but in their simplicity. This simple stockinette mitten uses beginner friendly techniques and doesnt differentiate between left or right. The thumb hole is easily created using a piece of scrap yarn (called a peasant thumb) and requires minimal picking up of stitches (just 1 on each side of the thumb!).
Aran weight yarn: 66 grams (145 yards) for size M
Recommended yarn: Noro Ito
US 7/ 4.5mm shorties, DPNs, or circular needles for magic loop method
Stitch markerTapestry needle ScissorsScrap yarn (smooth is best, 12)
Removable progress keeper is helpful to keep track of rounds
Gauge: 20 sts x 28 rounds 4 x 4 stockinette in the round
Finished sizes: Easily adjustable via gauge (given in the pattern for the different sizes)
