“Dragon Scales Tank”
Description
Light and airy are the ideal when knitting for summer weather. It's fun to play with stitch patterns that include lace and texture, especially when you can include shaping into the pattern repeat, which is how the A-line shaping is achieved with this design.
Worked in the round from the bottom up, then divided at the armholes to work the front and back separately to the shoulders. An interesting feature is how the vertical ribbing is worked at the bottom of the armholes. Stitches are picked up along the shaped lower edge of the armhole, then worked as an attached edging along the shaped edge and the remaining single decreases done as you work over all the front or back stitches.
