Coterie is a celebration of all the things that I cherish most about Local Yarn Shops. Defined as an intimate group with a unifying common interest or purpose, Coterie conveys what knitters find at their favorite LYS.

These yarn shops are amazing places that foster our community of fiber enthusiasts and are the life-blood of our craft. They need support from their community during these difficult times.

Coterie is a crescent-shaped shawl, knit from the bottom up. The shawl begins with an elegant lace pattern, interspersed with soothing stockinette sections and reverse stockinette lines. The shawl shaping is created using simple short rows and easy decreases on a background of garter stitch.
