Worked back and forth from the bottom up, the left and right sides of the body are worked separately before joining once the back slit length is reached. Waist shaping provides a flattering fit. While the decreases are worked to shape the V-neck, the shifting of the pattern is echoed on the back so the lace panels meet at the shoulders. Shoulders are shaped using German short-rows.
The sleeves are worked in the round from the cuff up to the underarm length, then the cap is worked back and forth.
A narrow band of garter edges the front and neck edges.
