“Crescent Sky Shawl by Laura Seekatz”
Description
This pattern is a "crescent" shape construction which uses short rows to create the shape. It is made of "wedges" which are formed by using short rows for each wedge and stitch markers to indicate where you should switch directions. When the wedge is complete, all the remaining stitches are picked up again and the whole process starts over! The shawl size can be easily adjusted by adding more or less wedges to the project.
This particular shawl, using the Queensland yarn and size 10.5 needles, measures about 84 inches long and 16 inches wide at the widest point.
