“'Helena's Lace Shawl' by Sue Fischer”
Description
Allow this wonderful colorway yarn to produce a visually complex scheme of change in this easy to knit shawl. Step it up by adding some glass beads to the border to enhance the impact even more. Designed by Sue Fischer of "suelillycreations." Tool for adding beads to stitches can be found at my shop on Etsy, suelillycreations.

Finished size blocked of the shawl is 29" down the middle back and 55" across the shoulder.

Gauge is taken in the lace body with US 7, 4.5 mm Needles.... 16 stitches and 28 rows = 4". Other materials needed are 3 Stitch Markers, Tapestry Needle. (Optional) 105, 6/0 Glass beads and some method of adding beads to stitches. Most common is a crochet hook. I have a small tool I make to add beads smoothly, available at suelillycreations on Etsy. The shawl is knit from the bottom up , decreasing 6 stitches every odd numbered row, last 12 stitches are mitered together. The pattern is chart only.
