“'Makes Me Happy Cowl' by Diane Lynn Augustin”
Description
Makes Me Happy Cowl

It does!
I've been teaching bead knitting classes for a few years, and have been asked about other ways they may be applied in knitting. This cowl is a stitch sampler of eight different pattern sections, using three colors of yarn, as well as demonstrating three different ways to incorporate pre strung beads in a knitted piece. I hope it makes you happy, too!

**Beading Information**
Beads are available at many of the LYSs and online at: [http://www.bobbybead.com][1]
Although this pattern is partially a study on how to add beads to knitting in three different ways, beads are optional. Because the beads are prestrung, all beading may be eliminated from the design and not effect the stitch patterns.

Using the dental floss threader, prestring the appropriate amount of beads to each color where indicated in the design. Always string on a few extra beads.
I use a fleece mat on a flat table for a beading surface.
