“'Makin' Waffles' by Melinda Abodeely”
Description
A waffle stitch is one of those really impressive stitch patterns that will “wow” people, yet will be as easy as pie for you to knit. Knits & purls create a waffle effect that has a wonderful appearance, great stretch, & nice drape. This is bound to be one of your favorite sweaters both to knit & wear!

In addition to the basics, knit & purl, Makin’ Waffles uses the following techniques…
- Cable CO (tutorial link provided in pattern)
- German Short Rows (tutorial link provided in pattern)
- Your choice… either “3 needle-bind-off” or the “kitchener stitch” (tutorial links provided in pattern)

Designed with 4-6”/10 - 15 cm positive ease (choose size according to your actual measurements as ease is accounted for in pattern) XS (S, M, L, XL)(2X, 3X, 4X, 5X) Bust (inches): 28-30” (32-34”, 36-38”, 40-42”, 44-46”)(48-50”, 52-54”, 56-58”, 60-62”) Bust (cm): 71-76 (81-86, 91.5-96.5, 101.5-106.5, 111.5-117)(122-127, 132-137, 142-147, 152-158)

Makin’ Waffles was designed to put the knitter in control of the fit of the garment. All you need to do is take some measurements and plug them in to simple multiplication & division equations. (Don’t let the math scare you. I promise, it is very simple and calculator friendly. You can even message me if you have any questions or need some help!)
