“'Watercolor Adult Cardigan' by Sharon Bates”
Description
This cardigan uses a slip stitch to make these flattering "stripes" in only 2 colors of Noro's silk garden sock. One color at a time for the body. The ribbing is knit in fair isle style with both colors alternating in the knit row. It's a great way to get your feet wet with fair isle and rewarding to see the colors work up with the garter based slip stitch.
This is a one piece sweater knit from cuff to cuff including the button bands, then the collar is added at the end. The contrast is achieved by using a pale color "Contrasting Color" and a saturated color "Main Color" as you knit
NEEDLES AND STITCHING:
size 4 24" and 6 32" circular needles, stitch holders
FINISHED DIMENSIONS:
This cardigan is generous up to 48/50"
