“'Uluru Shawl' by Cathy Montoya”
Description
This short rowed shawl is worked entirely in stockinet stitch. It also works great as a lightweight scarf. The short rows are not wrapped, the turns are hidden beneath the yarn overs. The yarn overs are double wrapped, making the holes much larger, and are worked with p2 together on the purl rows and ssk on the knit rows. The yarn over section is worked on an odd number of rows, which makes the short row section alternate the edge it starts on. Using a marker to track the turning points on the short rows makes this a breeze to knit. The needle size used was a US9 5.5 mm.
