“'Double B Lino Scarf' by Sharyn Anhalt”
Description
Fast and easy! A simple bias knit scarf in two colors, finished with buttons. Knit in Katia Lino, this 100% linen scarf will look odd shaped and feel stiff while knitting, but washing and blocking brings out the beauty. Adding buttons or beads to the edges provides a bit of weight that helps it hang perfectly. So many different ways to wear this! Knit with two 50 gram balls Katia Lino, in contrasting colors. Colors shown are #3 off white and #17 dark taupe.
NEEDLES AND STITCHING:
US Size 9 needles - use a needle size that gives you a loose drapey fabric.
FINISHED DIMENSIONS:
Finished size 88 inches long x 6 inches wide.
I used most of two balls of Lino; if you desire a longer length purchase a 3rd ball. The finished width can also be modified by casting on any number of stitches, keeping in mind that you’ll need more yarn for the same length.
