Description
The Basic Children's Sweater is constructed from the bottom up in one piece. You have your choice of knitting a cardigan or crew neck pullover with either a round or raglan yoke. Set-in pockets are part of the pattern.
Learn all the techniques in the child's sweater pattern by first working the complimentary 18 inch toy sweater pattern included.

Sizes 2 (4, 6, 8, 10) years. Finished chest circumference 26 (28, 30, 32, 34) inches.

NEEDLES AND STITCHING:
Two 24 inch circular needles to get a gauge of 20 stitches and 28 rows per 4 inches In stockinette stitch. Use circular needles two sizes smaller for ribbing and finishing.

FINISHED DIMENSIONS:
Total body length ranges from 15 1/2 inches to 22 1/2 inches. Length can be adjusted according to the child's dimensions. The body length includes the border ribbing. Total sleeve length ranges from 11 inches to 15 inches. Length can be adjusted according to the child's arm length. The sleeve length includes the cuff.
