The Great Garment Giveaway (July 25)

Edit July 29: This week’s winner is Dana! She said:

I think it would be most appropriate to wear this lovely sweater
near Scotch and water. I certainly would be happy to wear it at that time.

(I guess we can all use a drink. Cheers!)

You’ve all been having fun with the Great Garment Giveaway and we’re loving reading your comments.

DeRonda won week one. Patti S won week two. Linda won week three. Who will get to adopt this week’s garment?

We’ve got a real beauty for you, too. The only way this top could be more nautical is if you tossed it into the ocean!

I live near a lake, so that’s really where this sweater would get most of its wear. But my heart is at the sea!

  50. Beautiful sweater and yarn!

  51. I would wear this perky little beauty on my daughter’s pontoon boat (The Happy Hooker)! She likes to fish. And the water would be fresh in the river as she and her husband and my grandson and I fished for walleye.

  52. Sailing, sailing over the ocean blue!!! I’d wear it on salt water or fresh water or at the pool!! It’s really cute and fun for the warm weather.

  53. I would wear this cute sweater to my sewing classes. I teach sewing to children and adults.

  54. I think it would be most appropriate to wear this lovely sweater
near Scotch and water. I certainly would be happy to wear it at that time.

  55. I’d wear this wonderful top “sittin’ by the dock on the bay”!!!!!

  56. This is just lovely, it could be worn just about any where, by the shore, on a sail boat or a nice hike.

  57. I would wear it either. It is beautiful.

  58. Wish I could wear it by salt water, but, as I’m smack dab in the middle of Michigan it will have to be fresh water!

  59. Since I don’t live near salt water any more, I would wear it near fresh water.

  60. I would wear it by the water, I would wear it by the sea. I would wear ANYWHERE anyone could see!

  61. I would wear near fresh water as I am no where near salt water. Would look great on a sailboat on one of the many lakes here in Minnesota

  62. I would wear this sweater anywhere, most likely by the ocean since I live close by and my poolside evenings. You can team this sweater with just about anything and look stylish.

  63. I will wear it at the Oregon coast next week. Specifically The great city of Cannon Beach, Oregon.

  64. This would get worn on both the Atlantic and the Pacific as I will be visiting both of my sisters. They live on opposite coasts!

  65. I would wear this in teal or purple, along the ocean watching the sunset near PCB, Florida!

  66. I would wear this by Lake Tahoe!

  67. I would wear it near fresh water at a wedding rehearsal dinner!

  68. I would wear this top to work and daydream about where I would go wearing this cute top and all the combinations of casual and dressy wardrobe components needed to minimize my luggage.

  69. The top is awesome. I’d wear it layered with a tee top or a cami in a complementary color for a walk on the beach with my honey of 34 years. Love that it can be dressed up or down depending on the event.

  70. To answer your question, Yes! This top would look great on the lake with my in-laws, or at the beach with my hubby for our anniversary.

  71. Salt water!

  72. I’d wear near the shore. Beautiful color.

  73. Love this kind of sweater for the summer.

As much as I adore the ocean, I don’t think I’ll be near one soon…but, we’ll be visiting a lake house in Wisconsin soon with a pontoon boat…this would be lovely to wear…maybe with a nice sun hat 🙂 Such a pretty, flattering color & nice design.
