Pink Yarn

A lot of people have been asking about pink yarns lately. We have a wide selection of yarns in many different weights and colors.

This Juniper Moon Farm “Moonshine” yarn is shown in color 31-Slumber Party. Isn’t that an awesome shade of pink? Moonshine is considered a worsted weight yarn with a suggested knitting gauge of 4.5  to 5 sts per 1″ on a US7 needle.

The fiber mix of 40% Wool, 40% Alpaca, and 20% Silk will be nice and warm, too.

If you want to knit something fast, you’ll want a heavier weight yarn.

I’m a little obsessed with Ella Rae “Chunky Merino Superwash” at the moment since I’m using it for my Selina Cardigan for the KAL starting on Sunday. The swatch shown above is color 12-Heartfelt.

Chunky Merino Superwash has a suggested gauge of 3.5 sts per 1″ on US10 1/2 needles, so your project will work up really quick.

If you don’t want to go full-on pink, you can add some color variations.

This is Louisa Harding “Pitturissimo” in color 205-Cressida. Pitturissimo is an aran weight yarn that is a cozy 75% Wool, 25% Bamboo Viscose blend.

Another chunky option is “Yaya” yarn from Mirasol. Look at that brilliant pink in the middle! Yaya is available in a range of pink and red colors that would be good choices. Knit on US13 needles, you’ll be finished in next to no time.

These are just a few of the many pink yarns we distribute. On any of the yarns on our website you can click the “buy locally” button to see stores that have ordered that specific color within the last 180 days. We can’t see into individual shop inventories, so you’ll have to contact them directly to see if they have the color in stock still.
