Louisa Harding Interview

Louisa was recently interviewed on The Baarmygirls Podcast.

The episode is about 22 minutes long. The part about Louisa starts around the 3:40 mark. However, you should listen to the beginning so you can hear the really silly song about mittens. It made me giggle.

It was fun to hear some behind the scenes information about how Louisa selects yarn and how much time passes between her initial idea and the patterns arriving in stores.

Mmm, Luzia yarn

Luzia, which was a really popular yarn this winter, gets a mention during the interview.

Learn more about Luzia. Remember Luzia’s star turn in Vogue Knitting and Vogue Knitting Crochet.

English rose coverThey also discuss Louisa’s new hardcover book “Knits From An English Rose“. Follow that link so you can preview patterns from the book while you’re listening.

I don’t want to spoil any surprises, so I’ll just say there is a lot of talk about her designs for the next season, which sound very fun. Now I can’t wait to see the pictures for the new books!

Grab a cup of tea and hop over to the Baarmygirl blog to listen to the interview. I was able to get a few rows knit on my Buttercup top while I was listening.
