The Yarnologue

Hide & Seek–Game & Giveaway

There are kittens loose on our website!

They have been frolicking through the pages, playing with the yarn pictures, and teasing the models in the pattern pictures. They are very tricky and we’re having trouble catching them.

Help us find the kittens for a chance to win some yarn or a pattern book!

There are 7 kittens hidden around our main website. Find as many as you can, then send an email to Ann (click the link to launch your email program, or send it to socialmedia (at) knittingfever (dot) com) telling her where you saw them. (Kittens here on the Yarnologue don’t count for the game!)

One lucky grand prize winner will be randomly drawn from all qualifying correct answers with all 7 kittens and announced on June 4 here and on Facebook. The grand prize winner will receive a bag of yarn.

Can’t find all 7 kittens? A second place winner will be randomly drawn from the qualifying answers with the next most kittens. The second place winner will receive 5 balls of yarn.

And because we like you, remaining entries will be entered in a runner up drawing for a pattern book!

Need help tracking down the kittens? I’ll be posting clues here on the blog, and on our Facebook page, on Wednesdays during the month of May.

Also be sure to check out the talented and generous Louie Zong. He’s the wonderful animator whose kittens are currently running amok though our website.

Have fun and good hunting!

found one on the ‘post from the yarn log’ page!!!

  2. Great and fun game! I love it! Is it only for US fans? Or maybe we, on the other side of the ocean, have a chance to participate? Have a great day!

  3. Dug around on the website, killed about 2 hours and was only able to fine 3 kittens. Wow this one was a bit challenging.

  4. Ooh, thanks for the feedback. We’ve made the kittens a little easier to find!
